30A – Final Reflection

1. From the first assignment, the bu lists, we have learned so much. The bug list was an excellent assignment to start the course. I allowed me to get into the headspace as a business person. To recognize the flaws or ‘bugs’ faulty in the world and look to create something that could affect it positively. And that’s what we learned throughout this course. Finding an opportunity and acting on it, that is what an entrepreneur is.

2. What sticks out to me the most is the idea that you planted is that the fact that we all just want money. It is essential to do what we need to do now to make money and focus on the bigger picture later. What I’m most proud of is the way I developed a full business idea and have the experience to know the steps of creating a product/service.
3. I do now see myself more as an entrepreneur, and I feel that I have grown the entrepreneur mindset.
4. One recommendation I would make to students is to be open-minded through this course and really learn from each assignment because each one has a hidden lesson within them. You learn and grow experience through each assignment to have a better head as an entrepreneur. Also, for this course, stay organized!

  1. Hey Savannah, It's the final post and I just wanted to thank you for getting all your work done in this class first. Everyone in my group was also slow in doing their work which as you know makes it difficult to do peer reviews. I wish you all the best in the rest of the semester and all your future endeavors . Good luck!

I agree with you in that the bug list was a great way to get started within the class. It gave all of us a chance to better understand ourselves, and in a way finding the roots to issues we have in our everyday lives. This is definitely the beginning in gaining an entrepreneurial mindset, the ultimate goal of this class.

  4. Hi Savannah,
I like how you mentioned the bug list assignment, I also think that it helped me develop a more critical eye to meet the needs of my community. You also mentioned that securing money is important for entrepreneurs, as we learned in class that seasoned entrepreneurs focus on the money rather than just lofty ideas. Organization is essential for this class as well. Thanks for sharing!

  7. Hi Savannah! I actually completely forgot about the bug list. It feels like so long ago when we were doing that assignment. Your claim that many businesses simply need money couldn’t be more true. That’s why becoming a successful entrepreneur and following on the right guidelines is so important for the survival of your business. After taking this course, I too am in the entrepreneurship mindset.

  8. Hello Sav,

I really enjoyed the way your discussion board is setup for this last assignment, I agree that all the assignments played nice together and really built a big picture for this course that I Really enjoyed. Although it might have been tedious to make these post every week I think they were necessary in allowing us to use problem solving skills in real life scenarios. Overall great post, keep up the good work in your future endeavors.
