29A – Venture Concept No. 2
Opportunity:
Who requires the need for blue tooth wireless headphones are highschool to college students; generation z and millennials (but limited to). The nature of the need is to obtain a pair of Bluetooth headphones that don’t cause you the trouble of having to disconnect and reconnect to every device. The forces and changes that are creating this opportunity are advancing technology people may not see this need until it is brought to their attention because at the moment, there is no real solution to it. The market is defined geographically and demographically would be people in the middle to upper class in which this product would be on the pricier side. Customers are currently satisfied with this need because they don’t have any other solution than to deal with it; I don’t believe they would be loyal if a better and more advanced product was put in front of them. This opportunity is huge and has the chance to lead the Bluetooth industry in this advanced technology. I would believe this “window of opportunity” is short because eventually someone will think of this idea and take a chance on it. Technology is always advancing and changing.

Innovation:
My innovation is Bluetooth wireless headphones that allow you to connect to two or more devices at once. You can now be connected to multiple devices at once without the hassle of reconnecting. You connect them once, and the headphones remember devices and automatically do what you don’t want to do. Although I know what it is I’m selling, I do not know how much I would sell it for as I don’t know how much it would even cost to make this product. Possible 150$ like AirPods, but possibly cheaper because Apple is selling you the brand.
Venture concept:
Costumers will switch to this product because it will save them the trouble of having to disconnect and reconnect to every device, making it easier for them. It will, although, get them to switch to the more prominent brands like Apple’s AirPods. Apple would be one of my biggest competitors, there possible weaknesses that I use to my advantage would be people that don’t like apple products (to start there). Also, I would use social media as an essential means to grow the brand name. Packaging, your price points, distribution, and customer support is vital to the customer experience to make sure they come back for future products. To organize a business, I would get a warehouse to produce bigger and better products and long with growing my employees as I grow.
The three minor elements:
My most valuable resource would be creating my brand. My goal would be to create a brand that everyone is attracted to. Social media would play a significant role in getting my brand name out there as people rather wear branded products. My next venture would be a newer version of my headphones. In five years, I would have created this successful product/service and be about to launch it or have just recently launched it. I want this business idea to be a place for me to learn from my mistakes and grow as an entrepreneur.
2. In my previous venture concept, I received helpful feedback. Although most of my venture concept stayed the same. Most of my feedback was positive about my business idea and notion, so it was difficult to know what to change. So, all in all, there wasn’t any feedback or recommendation for me to actually edit what I wrote in either of those assignments (and in most assignments in general). Everyone is just too nice! Lol.
3. I slightly changed my venture concept based on social media and how social media would be vital for me to grow my brand to better compete with a bigger brand like apple, etc.

Hey Savannah, Great post as usual as Im also posted on your Venture Concept # 1. Besides like most technologies especially in today's day and age it's all about staying ahead of the curve. So I also stand by my last comment in that I think it's a great idea but try and find what the next thing after bluetooth is, the next platform so to speak.
ReplyDeleteYou did a great job on your post. It is detailed very well and very easy to understand. You did a good job answering all of the questions that were asked in lots of detail. Your opportunity piece is very well written and you defined your market very well. I also like the pictures you included, I think they fit the rest of the post very well.
ReplyDeleteHi Savannah,
ReplyDeleteI think that you have an interesting business concept. I can see that in the future, it would be beneficial to be bought out by a larger company like Apple or Beats. I think that with their marketing and brand recognition, your product would be a hit. It would also alleviate the pressure you would have to research the market, develop a supply chain, and get your product sold at major retailers. Thanks for sharing!

Savannah,
ReplyDeleteI like your venture concept and see it going places. I especially like how you refined the concept to include social media and how you may be able to utilize it for your business. After reading the last book which focused on the power of social media, this is definitely a wise move for any business owner. Good job!
Hello Savannah,
ReplyDeleteGreat post! i really like youc venture concept and can really see a great potential for this service. I also agree with the idea of being able to set your business up to be bought out by a larger company such as Apple or Bose. This I think would be the best route for you in order to leave the product in the hands of someone who knows how to properly develop the product and also in the hands of someone who knows that specific market very well.
Hi Savannah,
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed reading your blog post and second venture concept. I think your product of wireless headphones that connect to two or more devices is very cool and creative. I think these are very necessary and will be of high demand because from personal experience, it is annoying when you have to switch the connection when you need them for different things.
I love the idea of having iPods being able to connect with multiple devices. I don't know if you have addressed it, but motorcycle communication devices have this type of capabilities. The devices are able to connect with up to 8-10 devices with a radius of 5 miles. It would be worth looking into the technology of those devices to help your product move further along.
ReplyDeleteHi Savannah! My feedback for my venture concept was also really positive so I get where you’re coming from when you were struggling to know what to change. However, your slight change to focus on social media is still a great adaptation to your venture concept. With an increase in technological inventions, social media is a great way to promote and excel with your business.
ReplyDeleteHello Savannah,
ReplyDeleteI want to start by saying how much love this product idea. I think that while this may be a very minor problem, it is certainly very irritating. The product will definitely prove to be successful among younger age groups like Generation Z. I am glad that you decided to focus more on social media to promote the product. That will greatly benefit your promotional strategy.
Hey Savannah,
ReplyDeleteI love this product and I think you could be so successful if you continue this journey. I think the changes you made are also very helpful and your social media presence will be strong. I agree with you that creating your brand will be your most valuable resource. Great post!
